Cookbooks I’m Currently Loving

Cooking can't get any better guys! Seriously, January alone I have made a ton of recipes and I have been enjoying the process a lot more now. Cooking doesn't have to be a daunting task, as long as you have ideas on what to make, you can make it enjoyable to whip things up. Never in my life, I thought I'd be those ladies who collect cookbooks. I always figured that I would just cook from the top of my head like my mother and grandmother did. Sadly that isn't the case with me, I need references and I need ideas on mixing things up. I can ... Read the Post

Easy Meal Planning

I always love the idea of cooking but lets be honest, when you have kids and a job and a blog, usually cooking is not on the table every day. I use to just pop in frozen dinners (trader joe has amazing frozen food), eat out a lot and cook sad to say, junk food. Although we try to make a habit of eating better, majority of the time it wasn't good food. I wanted easy meal planning. One of my resolutions was to eat better this year. I wanted to cook food from scratch and actually enjoy it. I won't lie half of the time I didn't enjoy ... Read the Post

Mixing Digital & Paper Planning

When it comes to planning your days some people prefer paper and others digital. In a world where digital calendars are popular, it's sometimes easy just to stick to digital! I use to try only digital route, but that didn't work! I don't know about you, I love a brand new planner to write, doodle and plan my days away in. Then I tried the paper route only and that was more difficult than I thought because sometimes I would forget to look in my planner or check for appointments, and sometimes I felt like it was a big written mess ... The Weekly | Snow Time!

The weather has been cold around here lately, it even started to snow. Something about the white snow that is so peaceful and beautiful, I mean it's a vision out here in New York too with all the tall buildings and trees covered in snow. My kids instantly get excited when they see the snow, because in New York it's not often that it comes down. The roads are slippery and I won't lie it's a mission lugging a 6 year old and a 1 year old in the snow. One wants to play and kick snow everywhere when we're trying to get somewhere nice and a little ... Read the Post

My 2017 Reading List

I want to get back into reading regularly this year like I use to. I have been seeing a lot of new books out that have caught my interest, and then there are books that I've been wanting to read for a while now and they have already become movies like Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children! I really need to catch up! This year I would like to do a minimum of 12 books and a max of 52! I'd be happy if I get to read 12 because let's be honest sometimes the kids and life can get busy! So let the challenge begin! Time to get lost in ... Read the Post
